anxiety hives
Does anyone know anything about hives?

I had several hives and the last time I got landed in the hospital with her cubs covering most of my body, I've never been able to determine exactly what causes them. Anxiety? Something in my body around him? And nobody knows why they last so long? Also I break out in hives slight few times a week, but last only a few hours and then go on their own.

I had hives three times at the end of the year Finally, and this is the worst I've ever known. The first time the hives, I had no idea what wrong with me. It was night, I was dating my boyfriend, we were out and began to bite in one place in my buttocks, I began to scratch it, like any other pike. But then I started to feel that my body was overheating and fire and was sick the whole process happened so quickly. And before I knew I was looking everywhere leading to a lot of scraping, and beehives have been raised in my skin. He was everywhere on my body, hands, feet, face, head, back, I mean everywhere. It was so bad and then I felt oppression throat is a sign that something bad is happening, but I just drink water that was stupid coldest shower ever, and went to sleep, then I felt best way to send what I have to do is go to ER ASAP. But then I got a rash again almost exactly a month later, when I was at work when I went to emergency, trying to work with hives is not the best thing to do. And the doctor said that if someone still feels tightness in the throat they need to go to the emergency room. However, said most of the time hives are caused by allergies, I thought, but did not, or stress, and in my case was probably due to a chemical imbalance in my body, is what the doctor told my follow-up appointment, so I do not know. The doctor said that there is little case of hives be resolved, because there are so many things that can cause hives. But you're probably allergic to something, or stressed about something. Some people urticaria lasts longer than others. But if you have an allergy to something that will take some time for doctors to understand what is happening. Good luck and I hope you find what is the cause of your hives.

anxiety vs bipolar
Lithium vs Depakote need help?

I was in 1500 mils of depakote for about 6 months I also take Lamictal 100 milliseconds and 20 thousandths Lexapro inch still have a lot of anxiety and mood swings what about lithium heard good and bad that someone knows the pros and cons of these medications should be helped by people like me bipolar

I took Depakote, Lamictal and Lexapro together. Lexapro did not help my anxiety is commonly used for anxiety / depression. I found Xanax, Klonopin and Valiumn best to treat anxiety. I refused to take lithium for convenience against drugs. You need to have blood tests scheduled to determine its proper dosage and may affect your liver. (For example, my aunt had to stop taking it because it) I think that is my concern this kick drugs … I apologize. To change your bipolar medication Seroquel I would check. There was a mood stabilizer for me. The with-we have done to I started to adjust sleepiness in my body and I also experienced weight gain. Weight gain is something you can control and I did the second time I went there. I tried depakote for a while and brought to Seroquel because I had side effects with Depakote, and not control my moods and made the Seroquel.

social anxiety in young children
Do you think there is a certain intolerance for adult victims of abuse, such as "Get Over It"?

Do you think there is something of "hostility" toward adult victims of child abuse as "Get Over It"? Many adults suffer from PTSD, disorders Anxiety, depression, social. That affects their life, everything, but most try to hide the facts, it is little sympathy for that. Like "Jenny" Forrest Gump, was sexually assaulted a child and an adult who has acted sexually and drug and not its act together until it's too late. He had scored a whore and that's all. A lot of girls in prostitution and sex have been victims of violence can not be seen as villains or victims? Pimps know where to find girls low self-esteem than their neighbors in line, both men loitering for sex, and consider re-victimization of women as fair meat may not even funny. When long-term consequences of child abuse, especially among girls, is best understood in society?

There is a stigma for sexual abuse in childhood, including incest. Believe it or not, consideribly things have improved since I was a child. Everything is hidden, not talking, we are blamed for the abuse that occurs in the first place, and women of my age who have lived this nightmare is terribly emotionally marked by the complete lack of support and understanding of what had cross. And I agree w / you. is almost an attitude of "deal with it, all in the past." It is never in the past. She is one of the most damaging things that can happen to a human being. You NEVER make any sense self-esteem or sense of self confidence. This violation most personal and devastation of a human being can endure. And until that stigma is demolished, and women can finally speak of hell that they lived, and make people finally understand the pain and torment, there will be great progress in healing. And is also right about the victims often fall into the trap of sex. Everything comes from low self-esteem, and know no different. A very tragic situation indeed.

anxiety cytokines

Friday, July 10th, 2009

A recent study by the Harvard Medical School proposes that depression is associated with physical changes in the body which can lead to heart problems. Two important hormone systems which connect depression to heart disease have been identified. These two hormone systems appear to be activated in the presence of depressive feelings and have been reported to influence cardiovascular health, in three primary ways.

The first being that there is a positive correlation between depressive feelings and the activation of molecules called pro-inflammatory cytokines. These cytokines appear to support the production of atherosclerosis and the rupture of cholesterol-filled plague, which can fatally block blood flow to the heart.

The second being that when depression stimulates the two aforementioned key hormone systems, the heart rate and rhythm become impaired.

The third being that stimulation of the two aforementioned key hormone systems can also lead to the over production of platelets. Platelets are described as blood cell fragments instrumental for blood clotting, and too many can lead to the clotting of key vessels and arteries.

Most persons who struggle with chronic depressive feelings, go untreated, and most of those who do, rely solely on antidepressants. While antidepressants promote the production of noradrenaline, serotonin and dopamine in the brains of depressed person, they don’t facilitate the process of where a patient will address underlying nurture issues, influencing their depressive symptoms. As time goes by, a treatment for depression solely comprised of antidepressants becomes ineffective for two reasons, the first being that the person begins to develop a tolerance to his antidepressants, requiring larger does, and the second being that a significant number of person turn to illegal drug abuse to self medicate, a popular drug being marijuana. It is general agreed upon in the medical and behavioral science communities that drugs like marijuana, reduce the intended effects of antidepressants.

Even for person with severe depression, receiving professional counseling services goes a long way towards full recovery. As such person not only learn the cognitive and behavioral causes of their depression, but how to adopt healthier cognition and behaviors which fosters healthier feelings, reduces depressive symptoms and subsequently reduces a risk for heart disease.

stress anxiety hives
Is it possible that the hives on my back and stomach are a result of stress and anxiety?

I’m quite an anxious person (and have been taking medication for this for about 4 years) and have recently had many stressful events in my life. The hives developed 24 hours ago, but their itchiness and noticibility flare up more at sometimes than others.
At what point should I go to a doctor? If it is stress/anxiety related, at what point should I contact my psychiatrist?

You should see an endocrinologist. Stress worsens many skin conditions — such as psoriasis, eczema, hives and acne — and can trigger asthma attacks.
Anxiety and stress are due to hormonal imbalances in cortisol, adrenaline, DHEA, etc.- which then CAUSES imbalances in the brain.
So medicating your brain with anti-anxiety drugs doesn’t address or correct the problem, it only masks a couple of the symptoms. (This explains why drugs don’t always “work”). Recentl stressful events tax your adrenals, which then raises cortisol levels, and your system is out of whack- so now you have hives.

Through a combination of nerve and hormonal signals, this system prompts your adrenal glands, situated atop your kidneys, to release a surge of hormones — the most abundant being adrenaline and cortisol.
Anxiety isn’t a brain chemical issue- it’s an endocrine issue that causes a brain issue.

anxiety fatigue nausea
Anxiety, Nausea, Loss of appetite, Bloating and more?

I’ve had an anxiety disorder for about 2 years and I would always be nervous before leaving my house. But for about 3 weeks now I’ve been experiencing loss of appetite, bloating, nausea, fatigue, and nervousness like never before. I can’t even leave my house anymore!
My stomach hurts after i eat anything.. right now ive just been eating because i have to and dont want to lose weight. But other than that any type of food just makes me sick to my stomach… I know I am going to the doctors soon but i would just like some input on this.. Any suggestions on what this could be?

Check out IBS – Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Thats what I have and the symptoms are very similar. What kind of foods are you eating? Maybe a change of diet may help. Yoga and relaxation will help too. I also have tried hypnosis and found it very helpful.

nausea anxiety fatigue
Which is most likely to cause Nausea?

I have been experencing Nausea, and I have been taking some medications for it, but whenever I use the medications and then eat, the food won’t stay in my stomach. Which of these could be the cause of my Nausea?
Stress
Anxiety
Fatigue

I don’t think it’s fatigue because I’ve been getting plenty of sleep.
It might be stress.
And I forgot what anxiety meant, but I think it means ‘excitement’, so it might be anxiety.
Here is a link about Nausea:

10 points availible for best answer!
I knew all three caused nausea, but I was wondering which one. Thank you though.

I am going with none of the above. Nausea can be caused by an overproduction of acid in the stomach. Your body will fill the stomach with acid to a point where when food enters the stomach is already full. The medications you are taking may be effecting the production of digestive enzymes in your stomach. A doctor can prescribe phengran to reduce the production of acid thus solving the problem. I highly doubt stress, anxiety, or fatigue are the primary causes.
