I started Lexapro a week ago for depression and also began clonazepam .5 mg at night for anxiety symptoms. If. I had these problems when I started. Clonazepam knock you out. When I was necessary for me at least 20 hours. Why your doctor has prescribed for you at night. You may be able to take your clonazepem soon as you would normally help a little. As someone said before me, it is best to get out and walk or find some way of doing it yourself is up. Everytime I go out anywhere i get panic attacks out of nowhere. I feel restless and my heart keeps beating very fast and i feel a tingly sensation on my back.

I sometimes get panic attacks during highly stressful situations. My symptoms include: sweating, increased heart rate, short shallow breathing, dizziness, confusion, extreme fear, shaking, even diarrhea, vomiting, and fainting. I’ve seen a RN/counselor about this and she prescribed Propanolol HCl, which is also a mild stage fright prevention medicine. It has been working well and usually prevents any panic attacks when I know it’s coming. Lately however, I have been needing a higher dose and it is not sufficient enough. Is there another option that is better and not a daily medication or habit forming (I only need the pills whenever I start feeling the onset of the attack, otherwise I don’t use it)????

Other than daily pills like SSRI’s, the only other option I know that you can take when you feel an attack coming on are benzo’s like Xanax but it can be habit forming…
